Egyptian police detained a stork believed to be an "Israeli animal spy" last week, Israel Nation News reports.
The bird was detained due to a suspicious tag attached to its feathers. The tag was actually used by zoologists to track its migration patterns.
Egyptian officials have previously complained about "attack sharks" used by Israel. Turkey and Darfur have both claimed to have discovered birds used for spying by Israel.
Additionally, the Palestinian Authority has alleged Israel uses "attack boars" and "anti-Arab rats."
