Barber: Iran, Syria & Hezbollah Are Threat to U.S. Interests Outside of Syrian Civil War

Research Analyst for the Washington Free Beacon Ellison Barber made the case that an American alliance with moderate Syrian rebels is preferable to inaction Tuesday on "The BlazeTV."

The current network of Syria, Iran, and Hezbollah share common goals and alliances outside of the Syrian civil war, Barber said.

Barber went on to point out that while the Syrian rebels are currently loosely allied it is likely they would become fragmented in the event Syrian Prime Minister Bashar al-Assad were to be deposed.

Thus, breaking up the axis of Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah and continuing to support moderate elements in a post Assad Syria is the best course for the United States, Barber contended.
