Rev. Al Sharpton, host of MSNBC's "PoliticsNation" and formerly an obese man, called out SNL sketch comedian and frequent Sharpton lampooner Kenan Thompson for his weight on his show Tuesday night.

During the segment of the show reading mailed questions, he played a clip where he danced to James Brown music on the show and pondered whether Thompson needed to "work off a few pounds first" in order to cut a rug like Sharpton:

SHARPTON: I'll tell you what, I notice every once in a while "Saturday Night Live" does these little skits on me and Kenan. Write Kenan and say, 'Why don't you try and cut a step like Reverend Al?' I want to see if Kenan can move like I move since he tries to crack jokes on me. What's wrong, Kenan? Afraid you need to work off a few pounds first? Thanks for watching. I'm Al Sharpton.

Sharpton didn't seem to be a fan of the comedy show's impersonations of his teleprompter misadventures, mispronunciations and overall loud demeanor.
