The campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang released an email Thursday blasting CNN for not including him in coverage despite him being sixth in the polling average by RealClearPolitics.

The Yang campaign's email included a CNN graphic of "top" Democratic candidates in which Yang was not included—despite having high enough poll numbers to be in the top six.

"Now you may not realize it from this image, but we were actually ahead of one of the candidates in this poll. In fact -- in several of the polls released this week -- we have been leading more than one of the candidates in this graphic," the Yang campaign wrote.

In a graphic about a recent Quinnipiac poll, CNN included former Texas congressman Beto O'Rourke, who polled at 1 percent, as a "top" candidate. Yang polled at 3 percent in the same poll but was not included.

Yang supporters shared other images on social media of CNN and MSNBC not including Yang in their coverage.

"The trend of this campaign is already very positive — think where we could be if we received the same level of coverage as folks like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Joe Biden," the Yang campaign said. "We must prove to everyone this is a movement that can’t be ignored. And the power to do that is in your hands now."
