Stephanie Ruhle Insinuates Kushner Is the Devil

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle appeared to insinuate on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is the devil.

Ruhle made the comment while discussing with Bloomberg View executive editor Tim O'Brien a new story in the New Yorker, which reported that Kushner, a White House senior adviser, became the Chinese government's "primary point of interest" to exploit in the Trump administration.

O'Brien said that Russia may have also "identified Kushner as a mark," noting that Russian bankers met with Kushner during the transition period in the lead-up to Trump's inauguration. He then brought up the Kushner family's property on Fifth Avenue in New York City, prompting Ruhle to reference the devil.

"We know from all the reporting around that, that Russian bankers met with Jared Kushner during the transition at a time when the Kushner family's trophy property on Fifth Avenue—" O'Brien said before Ruhle interrupted him.

"666, what a fitting address," Ruhle interjected.

"666 fifth, mired in debt," O'Brien responded, before continuing with his point.

The number 666 is often associated with the devil. A passage in the Book of Revelation of the New Testament refers to 666 as "the number of the beast."

Ruhle has been a frequent critic of Trump and has singled out specific members of his administration. Kushner's wife, Ivanka Trump, who serves as a White House adviser and is the president's daughter, has been subject to Ruhle's criticism. Back in March 2017, Ruhle charged that Ivanka has been complicit in actions of which she has appeared to disapprove.
