Spicer Ends Briefing After Being Asked About Possible Communications Shake-up

White House press secretary Sean Spicer abruptly ended Tuesday's press briefing following a question about the possibility of a shake-up in the communications department.

"What about reports that there's going to be an overhaul of the communications operation are fake news?" a reporter asked Spicer.

Spicer chuckled at the question before beginning his answer.

"What I'm telling you is that the reason that the president is frustrated is because there is a perpetuation of false narratives, a use of unnamed sources over and over again about things that are happening that don't ultimately happen. And I think that is troubling," he said before ending the briefing. "Thank you guys very much."

Questions about the White House's communications department come after communications director Michael Dubke announced on Tuesday that he was resigning.
