James O’Keefe Interviews the Man Who Discovered Jonathan Gruber Videos

Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe III sat down for an interview with "Rich," the man who discovered videos of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber bragging about lying to American voters and taking advantage of their "stupidity" to sell President Obama's health care law.

After multiple videos surfaced showing Gruber repeating the claim on academic panels across the country, O'Keefe sought out the man behind the releases, now collectively known as 'Grubergate.'

Rich said his motivation behind the releases began with Obama's infamous lie: "If you like your plan, you can keep it."

"When the president said, 'If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, period,' it kind of made me think that the law wasn't going to impact me. But then, I lost my health insurance," Rich said.

"That made me think, you know, 'What the heck's going on?' and I became more engaged in the law because I knew it was going to impact me at that point."

Rich, who is self-employed, said he tracked down the videos so other Americans at risk of losing their health insurance could know how Obamacare will impact their lives.

When he first found the videos, nobody listened to him, he said. That prompted him to break the first video in the 'comments' section of a Washington Post article online.

"We've got some real problems," Rich said. "Nobody would listen to me, and I had all this great stuff explaining what was going on, and nobody would listen to me."

Rich expressed little optimism in Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare in the upcoming legislative session.

"I have no freakin' idea how to fix this thing," he said. "All I know is, the longer this thing goes, the harder it's going to get to undo."
