Eliana Johnson: Pence Got the Better of Harris on Court Packing

Washington Free Beacon editor in chief Eliana Johnson said Vice President Mike Pence successfully challenged Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif) on court packing during Wednesday's vice presidential debate.

On PBS News Hour, Johnson praised Pence's performance on the economy, energy, China, "and particularly on pressing Kamala Harris about whether the Biden administration would pack the Supreme Court."

Johnson said Pence faced an "uphill battle" going into the debate because of the coronavirus pandemic. But he succeeded in forcing Harris to repeatedly dodge on whether a Biden administration would pack the Supreme Court, just as Biden did during the first presidential debate.
