America Rising PAC released a video Monday contrasting Hillary Clinton’s statements about her private email server with media reports contradicting those statements.
The video is titled "Failed Leadership." A partial transcript is below.
HILLARY CLINTON: People should—and do—trust me.
REPORTER 1: We have a candidate here who is not being honest or candid about her emails.
CLINTON: Again, let’s take a deep breath here: I’ve never had a subpoena.
REP. TREY GOWDY: We sent her a subpoena. Couldn’t be more plain: "The Honorable Hillary R. Clinton."
CLINTON: I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email.
REPORTER 2: Classified information was transmitted on the private server she ran out of her home.
CLINTON: I did not send nor receive anything that was classified.
REPORTER 3: The FBI is now looking into the private email system that Hillary Clinton used.
CLINTON: Maybe the heat is getting to everybody.
ANDREA MITCHELL: Despite her repeated past denials, the intelligence community’s inspector general said that two of her emails should have been classified Top Secret.
REPORTER 4: That’s one of the highest levels of classification.
CLINTON: This is being blown up with no basis in law and fact.
REPORTER 5: The U.S. government—Department of Justice has been asking for the server
REPORTER 6: She didn’t turn it over voluntarily.
MARK HALPERIN: A dangerous new development for her.
MIKA BRZEZINSKI: How do you have a private email server as secretary of state, and scrub it, and I’m going to believe you. You think the American public is that stupid?
