Joy Behar Suggests Kim Jong Un Is Not 'Less Moral' Than Trump

"The View" co-host Joy Behar suggested Thursday that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is on the same moral level as President Donald Trump.

Conservative co-host Meghan McCain could hardly believe the comparison Behar was making, IJR reported.

The women of "The View" were talking about how Trump seems to be contradicting himself when it comes to his policy on Syria.

"We've got to the point in this world now where we have to rely on the sanity of Kim Jong Un and [Vladimir] Putin over the President of the United States," Behar said.

McCain suggested Trump was in a no-win situation.

"There's no way for him to win though. When he says nothing about Russia, people get angry. When he's threatening Russia, people also get angry. And I think we also need to pick our battles, I know it's sort of funny to laugh at this, but we are talking about genocide in Syria," McCain said.

"My issue is the moral relativism between someone like Kim Jong Un and Putin and President Trump, I think it's easy to sort of sit here and say that–" McCain said before being interrupted.

"What, you think Kim Jong Un is less moral than Trump? Do you?" Behar asked.

"Oh, my God," McCain replied. "I think Putin's aiding and abetting Assad right now."

"On what topic, on what topic?" Behar interjected.

"Chemical gassing of children — last time I checked, America isn't doing that to anyone," McCain said in reference to Putin's enabling of Bashar al-Assad's use of chemical weapons.

"Wait a sec, Kim Jong Un didn't do that, what are you talking about?" Behar said.

"It's hard for me to sit here with moral relativism about many things with Trump," McCain continued. "If you think that Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, and Bashar al-Assad, and President Trump are the exact same thing, it's when you lose all arguments with me in every way."
