Donald Trump's most recent squabble has brought out a story of when the GOP frontrunner offered a golf outing with his "friend" Bill Clinton.
Since his unforgettable presidential announcement in the summer, Trump has picked fights with fellow candidates, members of the media, the political elite, corporations, and celebrities. The GOP frontrunner's latest foe is none other than actor Samuel L. Jackson.
Like with most of the feuds Trump finds himself in, his squabble with Jackson began with a perceived slight on a very sensitive issue: Trump's golf game.
"He called me one day to play golf, not to play with him but to play with a friend of his, and I went to play with that friend of his, and that friend turned out to be Bill Clinton," Jackson said to reporters.
Jackson slighted Trump by claiming the real estate tycoon cheats at golf. When The Donald gets hit, rest assured he always hits back.
In typical Trump fashion, the presidential candidate took to Twitter to slam Jackson for doing too many commercials.
I don’t know @SamuelLJackson, to best of my knowledge haven't played golf w/him & think he does too many TV commercials—boring. Not a fan.

The actor told Seth Meyers on Tuesday night he has golfed with Trump on several occasions, insisting Trump's caddy helped him cheat. Jackson did not stop there. He told a story of a time Trump called him to offer him a golf outing with his friend, whom he did not immediately name.
I was here in New York. And he always calls and goes, "Samuel L! The Don. "
I go, "Who?"
"The Don."
"Oh, Mr. Trump, how are you doing?"
"Are you busy today?"
"No."
"Do you want to play golf?"
"Sure."
"Well, I’m not going to play but I have a friend who wants to play and we’re going to play at my club."
"It was over here. Not in Manhattan, but the other Trump club that’s on this side of the bridge. And when I got there, it was President Clinton."
Jackson said Clinton could verify that he and Trump know each other, despite Trump's claims.
"I’ve got bad news for you. The one person that might not back you up right now in this story is Bill Clinton," Meyers said. "Because I don’t know if he’s going to want to say a story he was golfing with Donald Trump either."
Trump, who is a longtime Clinton donor and has spoken very highly of the Clintons before running for the GOP presidential nomination, is not likely to appreciate Jackson tying him with the 42nd president whose spouse is the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination.
The businessman once again took to Twitter to rail against Jackson. He acknowledged he has played golf with the actor, but charged Jackson is the one who cheats at golf.

Trump then challenged Jackson to a golf outing.

Feuds with celebrities over petty matters have made Trump's rivals criticize him as merely an entertainer, and not really a leader worthy of running for the most powerful position in the world.
