ISIS-inspired terrorists bombed a Gaza Strip resort for hosting a concert for both men and women.

Salafist jihadist terrorist groups on Aug. 5 detonated an explosive device outside the Bianco Resort. The groups had warned the resort's owner that they would take retribution for the hotel's hosting of a mixed-sex concert. No one was injured, but the attack damaged a wall.

"Today we went to Bianco Resort in order to deny the evil before it happened, as this resort will hold a mixed singing party on the beach of Beit Lahiya," terrorist member Issa Miqdad wrote on Facebook on the day of the attack.

Salafist groups have clashed with Hamas, the terrorist group that controls the Gaza Strip through the Palestinian Authority. While Salafists aren't as numerous in the Gaza Strip as members of Hamas and the Iran-backed Islamic Jihad Movement, in recent years they have recruited growing numbers of young Palestinians. Some Palestinians "expressed appreciation for the perpetrators" of Thursday's attack, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Al Qaeda, which carried out the 9/11 terror attacks, is a Salafist jihadist group.
