Pop star Ke$ha is set to headline the Musicians on Call Presidential Inaugural Charity Benefit, the Hill reports:

Ke$ha is bringing her glitter-throwing, club-thumping beats to Washington for the presidential inauguration.

The pop star and "Die Young" singer, known for her affinity for eye makeup and risqué lyrics, will headline the Musicians on Call Presidential Inaugural Charity Benefit in Washington, produced and sponsored by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Ke$ha’s popularity rose in 2009 with her first album Animal. The song "Tik Tok" broke digital sales records.

Her second album Warrior was released in late 2012 and has been fairly successful. The album’s single "Die Young" was pulled from the airways following last month’s tragic school shooting. Ke$ha subsequently issued an apology for the lyrics.

The singer, author, and former reality television star will undoubtedly be a highlight of the week.

Her shows are known for being lively. "If you come to a live show, it's a sensory assault," she said. "You will leave covered in sweat, beer, glitter, and, just maybe, you'll get a special edition Ke$ha condom. If it breaks, you have to name you daughter or son after me."

It is unclear if there will be a special edition Ke$ha inauguration condom.
