The trial of a San Francisco sheriff accused of abusing his wife and endangering his child is scheduled to continue today. Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, a Democrat, is accused of domestic violence “and two other charges that led to a protective order preventing him from seeing his wife, Eliana Lopez,” a former telenovela star, according to the Sacramento Bee.
