Patrick Moran, the son of Rep. Jim Moran (D., Va.) who was forced to resign as his father’s campaign director after an undercover video caught him detailing ways to commit mass voter fraud, is facing criminal charges for domestic violence.
The trial of a San Francisco sheriff accused of abusing his wife and endangering his child is scheduled to continue today. Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, a Democrat, is accused of domestic violence “and two other charges that led to a protective order preventing him from seeing his wife, Eliana Lopez,” a former telenovela star, according to the Sacramento Bee.
