Report: Christian Persecution Reaches New Levels, Worse to Come

Christian persecution across the globe has reached a new high in modern times and the worse may be yet to come, according to a report from the Christian watchdog group Open Doors. The group issued their latest World Watch List, which ranks countries based on their hostility to christians, yesterday. Kay Hagan Flip-Flops on Ebola Travel Ban

Senator Kay Hagan (D., N.C.) on Friday announced her support for a temporary travel ban on non-U.S. citizens from West African countries affected by the Ebola virus. She claims to have supported such a ban “for weeks,” and while she has said in the past that a travel ban might be “one part” of a solution to the Ebola crisis, Hagan never fully embraced the idea, and just days ago dismissed a travel ban as something that “is not going to help solve this problem.” Now she’s calling it “a prudent step the President can take to protect the American people.” So, which is it?

VOX DOT COM is right, for once. The Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by terrorists scumbags back in April have been completely forgotten, and so has the trendy hashtag #BringBackOurGirls. It’s probably been weeks since you last encountered it.

Don’t worry, though, the story gets way, way worse. NBC News reports that, since the original kidnappings, the terrorist group responsible—Boko Haram—has “has taken at least 1,000 lives in what may be the deadliest killing spree by a single terrorist group since the Sept. 11 attacks.”

Oh?

Against the Obama Administration’s Imperialist Meddling in Nigeria

How many American parents would proudly send their sons and daughters off to kill or be killed in Lagos or Chibok? How many young men and women aspire to be the first American to fall in Damaturu?

These towns are located in Nigeria. That’s in Africa. President Obama has not publicly discussed sending U.S. troops to Nigeria, but can we trust him?

As the pressure mounts from America’s media elites and hashtag aficionados, what will he do when strongly worded condemnations fail to persuade Boko Haram Abubakar Shekau to release the hundreds of girls his group has enlisted in its quest for religious freedom?
