Young Iowa Voter Tells Clinton People Find Her Dishonest and Her Campaign Lacks Enthusiasm

After a young Iowa voter told Hillary Clinton her campaign lacks the passionate support of Bernie Sanders and many youths find her dishonest, Clinton fired back at Monday's CNN town hall that she doesn't get bothered by the "stuff" thrown at her by her political enemies.

"It feels like there's a lot of young people like myself who are very passionate supporters of Bernie Sanders, and I just don't see the same enthusiasm from younger people for you," said Sanders supporter Taylor Gipple. "In fact, I've heard from quite a few people my age that they think you're dishonest, but I'd like to hear from you on why you feel the enthusiasm isn't there."

The crowd murmured softly when Gipple mentioned people find Clinton dishonest.

Clinton said that in Oskaloosa she spent time with ten high-school students who are enthusiastically working for her and has seen the same energy from young people across Iowa.

"I'm totally happy to see young people involved in any way," Clinton said. "That's what we want, and we want to have a good primary to pick a nominee, and then we want to have everybody join together to make sure we win in November, which after all is the purpose of this whole campaign!"

Clinton said she couldn't keep up with all the criticism about her.

"I just keep going forward," Clinton said. "They fall by the wayside. They come up with these outlandish things. They make these charges. I just keep going forward because there's nothing to it. They throw all this stuff at me, and I'm still standing."

Clinton claimed that all the criticism she's gotten has been because she's been on the front lines of progress for 40 years. She didn't mention that there is an FBI investigation into her unauthorized use of a private email server as secretary of state and her mishandling of classified information.

At the end of her speech to Gipple, Clinton did a little playful hitch with her shoulders as she asked him to reconsider his support for Sanders.
