Woods on Obama’s Golf Game: ‘He’s Got Amazing Touch’

BY:

Tiger Woods spoke about his golf outing with President Obama in a Match Play Championship press conference Tuesday afternoon. Woods noted that the president had “a few good shots” and could be “a good stick” if he continues to play:

TIGER WOODS: He hit a few [good shots]. He is a pretty good athlete. We all know he plays a lot of hoop. I did not realize, I had kind of forgotten he is a lefty. To see him out there hitting shots, I mean he hit it well. We did not play under the easiest conditions. It was blowing harder than this and it was a little bit cooler than this. So, we played under some tough conditions. He hit the ball well and he’s got amazing touch. He can certainly chip and putt. ¬†After these four years, if he spends more time playing the game of golf I am sure he can actually get to where he is a pretty good stick.

REPORTER: […] How’s his pace?

TIGER WOODS: He’s quick.
