President Donald Trump trolled his former Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton on Twitter Wednesday for blaming her loss on several external factors, including Russia, Facebook, and misogyny.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate. Hits Facebook & even Dems & DNC," Trump wrote.

Clinton responded less than an hour later by mocking his viral typo tweet, writing "People in covfefe houses shouldn’t throw covfefe."

Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., appeared to get the last word in, mocking Clinton for not getting to live in the White House after the election.

Trump's tweet was in response to Clinton's comments earlier on Wednesday afternoon when she participated in a question and answer session at Recode's Code Conference. During the session, she took several jabs at Trump and questioned his methods for winning the election.

"What we saw in this election, particularly the first time we had the tech revolution, really weaponized politically," Clinton said. "It was aimed at me, but it's a much deeper, more persistent effort to literally turn the clock back on so much of what we have achieved as a country."
