Hillary Clinton's legal woes appear to be getting only worse as another former State Department IT official has refused to talk to Congressional investigators looking at Clinton's private email server. However, Senate Republicans are now threatening to subpoena John Bentel, unless he voluntarily cooperates with the Senate Judiciary Committee and Senate Homeland Security Committee according to The Hill.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.), chairmen of the Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees respectively, wrote to Bentel's lawyer in a letter that was made public Monday.

"In order to properly exercise our constitutional oversight functions, we need to speak with you," the letter said. "We would, of course, prefer that you meet with us in a voluntary and informal manner, but we will consider other options if faced with a continuing lack of cooperation."

The senators say that they have been attempting to speak with Bentel for more than three months.

This comes on the heels of former State Department IT staffer Bryan Pagliano receiving immunity from the Department of Justice in order for him to cooperate with the current investigation by the FBI and Department of Justice into Clinton's private server. Pagliano set up and maintained the server.

In the past, Bentel has testified before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. His attorney has not responded to Grassley or Johnson.
