Scarborough: Obama Has ‘Terrible Relationship With The Media’

Speaking with The New Republic‘s Chris Hughes and Franklin Foer about their recent interview with President Obama where he stated his frustration with the influence of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh on Republicans, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough made a peculiar statement Monday.

"Isn't it ironic? Democrats come in, and I think they get a much freer pass to the White House than Republicans, but it always seems to be the Democrats, the Clintons and now Barack Obama, that has this terrible relationship with the media," Scarborough said.

A week ago, on the day of his second inauguration, Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett thanked MSNBC for its coverage of his first term, saying, "It's been a good four years with you all as well."
