RNC Releases New Video Series: 'Empowering Women'

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has released a new series of videos entitled, "Empowering Women."

The videos each feature a prominent woman in the Republican Party as they describe their career and the importance of having women in politics.

"For years the Republican party has worked to elevate the brightest and most talented minds to leadership roles, and these impressive women represent that success," RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in an announcement on the new series. "We are committed to working together to engage, educate, and empower women, and to use our voices to drive the conversation as we embrace the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of our country."

Those featured in the videos include White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.), RNC Chief of Staff Sara Armstrong, RNC Chief Operating Officer Maggie Boyd and Administrator of the Small Business Administration Linda McMahon. All five of the Republican leaders gave input on the role women have played in modern American politics.

"Being a Republican woman means that I value freedom, individual responsibility, a strong military, an honest currency and the value of self-empowerment," Conway said.

"Women have a tremendous impact on the future of the Republican Party," Armstrong said. "Our voices have a resounding voice in Congress, our voices have a impact on the future of our economy."
