Obama Sees Someone Faint At Rally, Recommends Water, Bending Knees

September 13, 2016

President Obama saw a person faint in the audience at a rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday and recommended to the crowd that they bend their knees and drink water to avoid the same fate.

The reference to Hillary Clinton’s scare on Sunday at the 9/11 memorial in New York City was subtle but present.

"We got somebody who fainted," Obama said as he pointed into the crowd. "This is what happens."

He continued by telling the audience to give the person who fainted some room.

"They’ll be okay," he said. "Just give them a little room."

Obama then told the crowd that they should bend their knees. The crowd could then be seen bouncing up and down.

"Everybody bend their knees one time," he said. "Just don’t lock your knees."

The crowd at the rally started to laugh.

"Keep on bending them a little bit," he said. "We’ll do a little exercise right now."

The camera panned to show the majority of the audience participating in Obama’s exercise for fainting prevention.

He pointed out where the Emergency Medical Services were located at the rally.

"EMS, folks, they’re right here in front if you can find somebody," he said.

After the exercise, Obama told the audience to also drink water to prevent fainting at the rally.

Someone in the audience then shouted "I love you" to Obama.

"I love you, too, but bend your knees," he said as the crowd laughed.
