MSNBC's Live Feed Can't Handle Sarah Palin's Speech

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's stump speech for Donald Trump, unprecedented in its Americanness, was too much for MSNBC's live feed to handle on Wednesday.

After Palin burst back onto the scene Tuesday night with her endorsement of Trump for the Republican nomination for president, Palin made another appearance to support Trump in Oklahoma, where all three cable channels broadcast her remarks live.

"You all have a responsibility. We all have a role to play in this, in truly electing someone who will let us make America great again," Palin said. "You, you patriots, you who know that en--"

MSNBC then suddenly cut out to a test signal and back to Thomas Roberts in New York.

"So unfortunately, we lost the feed there with Sarah Palin, who was on the stage there at Oral Roberts University," Roberts said. "She'd just been welcomed on the stage by Donald Trump. We'll work on re-establishing that feed and take you back there for that speech."

A few moments later, MSNBC went back to broadcasting Palin's energetic support for Trump. Palin was the 2008 vice-presidential nominee on the Republican ticket with Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.). After they were defeated, Palin went on to become a Tea Party star, although her popularity among Republicans has sunk dramatically over the years.
