Inhofe Demands Cost of ‘Greening’ Navy Propaganda

Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe said the costs associated with “greening” the Navy’s fleet go beyond the tens of millions spent on biofuel accommodations.

Inhofe wrote a letter to Navy Secretary Ray Mabus requesting the cost of the fuel burnt in naval exercises using the new fuel, as well as the money spent on promotional materials for the launch of operations.

Inhofe requested a detailed report, including “cost to the Navy to paint logos on its aircraft and ships to promote the event, and cost to repaint the aircraft and ships after the event concluded; cost of the green hates and t-shirts to mark the event, and who provided the funding,” he wrote.
