Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said Monday morning the administration is either covering up information about the terrorist attack in Benghazi or has handled the situation so poorly that they appear to be covering up something, in an interview with CNN.
"They're trying to run out the clock," Giuliani said. "They can have the investigation. The investigation will be after the debate, after the election is over. What they're trying to do is cover up this scandal as much as possible."
"The White House has been remarkably — has fumbled this — whether it's a deliberate cover-up or they're making it look like a cover-up they have fumbled the ball four or five times here," Giuliani went on to say.
"This is supposed to be the most transparent administration in history?" Giuliani said. "Come on, give me a break. Something funny's going on here."
