Senator Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) confirmed that a recently released cyber security report on Chinese cyber attacks is accurate.
"I read the Mandiant Report. I've also read other reports, classified out of Intelligence, and I think the Mandiant Report, which is now unclassified, it's public, is essentially correct," said while appearing on "Andrea Mitchell Reports" Monday.
Mandiant, a cyber security firm, released a detailed report last week that describes a secretive Chinese military unit that has hacked a number of computer networks around the world.
The Obama administration released Wednesday a report outlining the administration's proposed response to economic espionage — but does not mention any China-specific policy.
