Democratic Party officials sent two California delegates home Monday, after the two arrived at their Charlotte, N.C., hotel "intoxicated," WBTW reports:
The Democratic Party heard that two members of the California delegation were "intoxicated" when they arrived at a high-end hotel in downtown Charlotte on Saturday, Tenoch Flores, a spokesperson for the California Democratic Party told WCNC-TV in Charlotte.
One of the pair passed out at some point and the hotel staffers called 911. When the ambulance arrived, the other DNC delegate starting arguing with the paramedics, WCNC reported. […]
Later, Democratic party officials sent the pair of delegates back to their home state. Neither was arrested nor has been identified.
