Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D., Minn.) mistakenly claimed that Sen. Bruce Braley (D., Iowa) was running for re-election in Ohio.
Klobuchar was rattling off key senate races where Democrats are "focused on the economy" in their respective states.
"From North Carolina, to Georgia, to Mark Warner in Virginia, to New Hampshire with Jeanne Shaheen, to Al Franken in Minnesota, to Bruce Braley in Ohio, to Mark Begich in Alaska," Klobuchar said. "You see that these candidates are strong candidates and they're people that know their states."
The candidates may know their states, but Klobuchar certainly does not. After CNN's Jake Tapper thanked her, she quickly added a correction to her list.
"I got Bruce Braley in Iowa," Klobuchar blurted out.
Unfortunately for Braley, Democrats have been forgetting everything from where he is from to what his name is.
