Retiring NBA commissioner David Stern says President Obama is “not as as good as he thinks he is” at basketball in a new interview with Reuters.

In the interview with Obama’s Swiss banker, Robert Wolf, Stern praises the president’s relationship with the league, but says the president “goes the same way every time.”

ROBERT WOLF: He’s pretty good. He’s got a nice little crossover there.

DAVID STERN: He’s a lefty. He goes the same way every time. I’m sorry. I’m a loyal Democrat, okay, a passionate Democrat–he’s not as good as he thinks he is.

In a video posted by the campaign Thursday, Obama misses two of three shots in a morning shootaround with fire fighters in Tampa, Fla.
