Corker Has Questions about Hagel’s Temperament

BY:

In an interview on ABC Sunday morning, Sen. Bob Corker (R. Tenn.) said he has a number of concerns about President Obama’s nominee to be secretary of defense Chuck Hagel, including his temperament.

Sen. Bob Corker: “I think another thing, George, that’s going to come up is just his overall temperament, and is he suited to run a department or a big agency or a big entity like the pentagon and so look…I think there are numbers of staffers who are coming forth now just talking about the way he has dealt with them.”

Sen. Corker is not the first to express these types of concerns as Hagel is known to have “routinely intimidated staff and experienced frequent turnover.”
