At a campaign stop in Wisconsin, Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) called Donald Trump a "sniveling coward" for attacking Cruz's wife, Heidi.
"It does not take a lot to get me pissed off, but you mess with my wife, you mess with my kids that'll do it every time," Cruz said. "Donald, you're a sniveling coward, you leave Heidi the hell alone!"
The race for the White House took a weird turn when Trump accused Cruz and his Super PAC for releasing a digital ad that uses a photo Melania Trump's from her GQ photo shoot that portrays her in a less than first lady-like light.
Trump went after the Texas senator on Twitter and said that he would "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife if he did not apologize for the ad.
Cruz and his Super PAC are not responsible for the ad but rather an outside PAC that is not affiliated with Cruz or any other candidate but is solely focused on stopping the reality star turned politician.
