President Donald Trump tweeted early Wednesday morning that his administration will be announcing "strong action" to ensure border security.

In his tweet, he said Democrats are in the way of progress and "want people to pour into our country unchecked."

Trump has emphasized immigration this week; today marks the fourth day in a row he has tweeted about immigration.

On Monday and Tuesday, he tweeted about a caravan of immigrants coming mainly from Honduras to cross the U.S. border.

On Sunday, he tweeted that border patrol agents are unable to do their jobs because of "ridiculous liberal" laws.

It remains unclear exactly what the president will announce today, and if it will be different from remarks, made Wednesday, about sending the National Guard to the southern border.
