KSM: Terrorist, Vacuum Designer and Candyman

CBS correspondent John Miller revealed Friday the mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attack, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, was allowed to design a vacuum cleaner and made candies called KSM&Ms containing a "creamy filling" he called "KSM flavoring" during his time in a secret prison. His captors were unwilling to try the candies, afraid of how he had produced said creamy filling:

NORAH O'DONNELL: They said we didn't want to allow him to go nuts so they allowed him to make this vacuum cleaner. What is this about making candy? What are they calling them?

JOHN MILLER: During a briefing that I attended once in the intelligence community, a colleague of mine described, during the time he was with KSM, that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had developed his own candy while in custody. He would cull together different things from his meals. Bread crumbs from the bread and little chocolate from the dessert, and he had made what he called KSM&Ms. He offered these hand-made, custom-made candies to his captors and said, 'This is for you.' And I asked, 'So how were they?' He said, 'Actually, none of us ate them because we were a little worried about the origins of the creamy filling which he called KSM Flavoring.'
