Hillary Clinton on Monday called out three Middle Eastern countries that have donated money to the Clinton Foundation for not doing enough to stop their citizens from contributing money to terrorist groups.
Speaking in the wake of the Orlando nightclub massacre perpetrated by a Muslim who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, Clinton said she wanted to address recruiting efforts by terrorist organizations. She scolded the governments of Gulf countries for not doing enough to prevent citizens from funding extremists, singling out Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.
"The third area that demands attention is preventing radicalization and countering efforts by ISIS and other international terrorist networks to recruit in the United States and Europe," Clinton said. "For starters, it is long past time for the Saudis, the Qataris and the Kuwaitis and others to stop their citizens from funding extremist organizations."

The governments of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait have all donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, which has been accused of running a pay-for-play scheme while Clinton worked as secretary of state.
The crowd in Cleveland cheered her remarks.
"And they should stop supporting radical schools and mosques around the world that have set too many young people on a path toward extremism," Clinton said.
