Vicious Teamsters in Massachusetts allegedly went on a rampage on the set of Top Chef, rattling beautiful host Padma Lakshmi who is now "scared for her life" and "too intimidated to speak."

Union protesters vandalized the set, slashing tires on more than dozen vehicles, while hurling death threats at the cast and crew. Lakshmi felt that her life was in danger, according to a source that spoke with the New York Post.

Padma Lakshmi, the gorgeous host of Bravo’s "Top Chef," is afraid for her life after picketing Teamsters called her a "f–king whore" and threatened to "bash that pretty face in." […]

"When I asked on Monday if it was true that Lakshmi was scared witless and too intimidated to speak, her publicist replied, "Thanks so much for your concern. We can’t comment on this. Sorry I can’t be more helpful."

A movie insider told me, "Boston teamsters have historically been the toughest. Given all the film work that has come to Massachusetts as a result of the tax incentives, you would think they would pick their battles and let a few things go, but then again they didn’t choose between driving trucks or working at MIT."
