Todd: W.H. Would Rather Talk About Anything Other Than Obamacare

NBC’s Chuck Todd appeared on Meet the Press Sunday to shed light on the upcoming agenda for the Obama White House in 2014.

After speaking with several administration officials Todd has learned the White House is trying to pursue other reforms with the hopes to changing the narrative around the botched Obamacare rollout. Todd joked with host David Gregory that the admin would "like to be talking about anything other than healthcare."

The full exchange is available below:

DAVID GREGORY: Chuck Todd, a year of action the president said 2014 would be. So how does he take his presidency back?

CHUCK TODD: Well it’s going to have to start with making sure healthcare works. It was interesting I was talking with some administration officials over the weekend and I said what’s your January going to look like? The ticked off a whole bunch of issues, confirmation of Janet Yellen, fight for unemployment insurance, we are going to have NSA reforms. They sort of left out healthcare completely, and I said so what does healthcare look like? They said as long as everything continues to get a little bit better, they think they can somehow ease things. Ultimately, they would like to be talking about anything other than healthcare.
