"Saturday Night Live" cast member Pete Davidson got two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton an early Christmas gift on Friday by getting a tattoo of her face on his arm.

Davidson dedicated his first Instagram post to Clinton by posting a picture of his new tattoo and thanking her for "being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe."

"Wanted to get @hillaryclinton a Christmas gift so I got a tattoo of my hero. Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe," Davidson wrote.

Clinton responded to Davidson on Instagram and thanked him for the gift while joking that she has had a tattoo of him for years.

"Thanks, @petedavidson. This makes it significantly less awkward that I've had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years," Clinton wrote. "But seriously, I'm honored. Merry Christmas my friend."

"@hillaryclinton OMG WHAAAAAAAAT!!!!" Davidson responded.

Davidson, 24, who joined SNL in 2014, was a vocal supporter of Clinton during the 2016 campaign and an outspoken critic of Trump.

Shortly after the 2016 election, Davidson castigated Trump in response to his tweet about SNL being "totally one-sided" and "biased."

"Never been more proud. Fuck you bitch," Davidson responded in a now-deleted Instagram post.
