New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was spotted on Monday training with a high-speed minigun for an upcoming movie roll.

The football player, who is coming off a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII, took out some of his frustration by spinning up the machine gun in anticipation of a role he's playing in the action flick Boss Level. The movie is currently filming and Gronk is slated to play alongside a new set of teammates, namely Mel Gibson and Naomi Watts.

The IMDB page for the film describes it as the story of "a retired special forces officer … trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death."

The minigun Gronk appears to be training on in videos released by Joe Carnahan, the film's director, fires at an astonishing 6,000-rounds-per-minute. Gronk appears to be firing blanks during the videos, much like Tom Brady in the final drive of Super Bowl LII against the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles. In one video obtained by Sports Illustrated, Gronk appears to be training with the minigun on a helicopter mount.
