Prankster Makes It Rain On Sepp Blatter, FIFA President Unamused

July 20, 2015

Outgoing FIFA president Sepp Blatter may have allowed FIFA employees to expense trips to strip clubs, but the 79-year-old did not look amused after a protester hurled a wad of bills at him.

Blatter had his press conference interrupted by British prankster Simon Brodkin. Brodkin, who once walked on stage during a Kanye West performance, stood in front of cameras with two large stacks of cash. He handed the first stack to Blatter but threw the second in the air as security guards escorted him out.

Later Brodkin tweeted the money was for North Korea to host the World Cup in 2026. FIFA is currently under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice for corrupt practices leading to the sale of the World Cups in South Africa, Russia, and Qatar.

Blatter, embroiled in scandal, immediately called for security.

"Security please. Where is my security? Come on. Come on," the Swiss soccer administrator said.

Blatter said he could not continue the press conference until the money was cleaned up.
