Largest Replica of Ark of the Covenant on Display in Jerusalem

The world’s largest replica of the Ark of the Covenant donated by Filipino Christian businesswoman Grace Gupana went on display in Jerusalem Tuesday, according to Israel Hayom.

Weighing 1,760 pounds measuring 3 meters tall, 5 meters long, and 1.6 meters wide, it is the world’s largest replica of the Ark. It took 12 artists four months to build the replica based on the Ark’s description in Exodus 25. "It is made of special wood, with staves of iron as well as stone-carved cherubim painted gold," Israel Hayom reports.

The Ark of the Covenant was famously discovered by Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones Jr. in 1936, but no word of it has surfaced after it was handed over to the United States government to be researched by "top men."
