Jake Tapper Gets Flirty With Porn Actress

The actress at the center of controversy who appeared in an ad for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign and later turned out to have a history of being in pornographic films spoke with CNN's Jake Tapper on Friday.

Amy Lindsay has a history of appearing in a variety of films and programs, including, as Jake Tapper categorized them, "late-night Cinemax kind of stuff." When her film history became known to the Cruz campaign, the ad was pulled.

Tapper asked Lindsay, who identifies herself as a conservative Christian, whom she is supporting currently in the Republican primary contest.

"What are your thoughts on the race right now? You say you are a Republican. You're gonna vote Republican. Is there a candidate you're leaning towards?" Tapper asked.

"There is," Lindsay said. "But I'm not—I haven't come out to endorse anyone just quite yet."

Lindsay did say that she has nothing against Cruz for what happened with the ad and that he is still a possibility for her to vote for. She said that she still believes in the message behind the ad.

"Alright, you're gonna come back on our show when you're ready to endorse I assume," Tapper said.

"Absolutely, I will!" Lindsay said.

Tapper is also known to have been on a date with Monica Lewinsky weeks before it became publicly known of her affair with then-President Bill Clinton in 1998.
