The Broadway actor and Hamilton star who lectured Vice President-elect Mike Pence on Friday evening about "diversity" and working on behalf of all Americans called women "ho's" on Twitter in 2013, and the year before said that St. Patrick's Day is "like Christmas for black dudes who like white chicks."

Brandon Victor Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr, the country's third vice president, delivered a message to Pence on Friday night following the show as the vice president-elect was leaving with his daughter and her cousins.

"We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights," Dixon said. "We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us."

Dixon lectured Pence about protecting all American citizens. However, less than five years earlier, the actor said that St. Patrick's Day celebrations are "like Christmas" for "black dudes who like white chicks" in a March 2012 tweet. The holiday is commonly associated with binge drinking.

In another tweet from June 2013, Dixon responded to a tweet from actress Tamika Lawrence and referred to women as "ho's."

Dixon did not apologize for his comments to Pence on Friday night after President-elect Donald Trump called on him to do so.
