Fox News announced Thursday that correspondent Shannon Bream will host a new show on the network at 11 p.m. EST.

Bream's show, "Fox News @ Night," will challenge MSNBC host Brian Williams and CNN host Don Lemon, Mediaite reports.

In the statement released by Fox News announcing the decision, the network described how the show will set itself apart:

Fox News @ Night will be a live hour of hard news and analysis of the most compelling stories from Washington and across the country. With news breaking at all hours — and often late into the evening — the show will provide viewers with the very latest must-see information from FNC’s deep bench of correspondents and experts. It will function as a capstone on today’s most consequential news, with an eye toward setting the table for tomorrow’s ever-changing developments.

Bream expressed her delight over the news.

"It has been an honor to work alongside the hardest-working team in the news business for the past 10 years," Bream said. "I am delighted to bring our audience an hour of captivating television, providing viewers with a recap of the day’s most important stories and the latest breaking news."

Until now, the 11 p.m. hour during the week has been occupied by reruns of the 8 p.m. show, which has been "Tucker Carlson Tonight." Fox News also announced this month that Laura Ingraham will host a new show during the 10 p.m. hour.
