Liberal Netflix talk show host Chelsea Handler bragged to reporters on Friday that she once told Ivanka Trump "I can't even with you," and the future First Daughter just shrugged back at her, The Hill reports.
It is unclear why the comic thought this story was cool or worth sharing:
Both Ivanka Trump, who serves as an adviser to her father at the White House, and Handler, an outspoken critic of President Trump, were among the speakers last October at Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Women Summit in California.
Handler — who in the past has ripped Donald Trump, calling him a "toddler" and dubbing his 35-year-old daughter "a puppet" — said someone at the Fortune event brought Ivanka Trump over to meet her.
"I can’t even with you," Handler recalls uttering to Trump. Handler mimicked the look she says Ivanka Trump responded with, shrugging while appearing bewildered.
She was in Washington, D.C., to film interviews with Sens. Al Franken (D., Minn.), Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.).
Handler, who identifies as a comedian, also joked about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's potential future run for president, saying "at this point, I'd take a rock." She actually had to credit another comedian for that line.
She cried over Hillary Clinton's defeat and was one of multiple woke celebrities who failed to make good on a pledge to leave the country if Trump won.
She also enjoys mocking foreign-born women for their accents.
