Comedienne Chelsea Handler sent two consecutive tweets last week: one about how women should support and not discount other women, and one that made fun of White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders' physical appearance.

Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R., Ark.) was asked during an appearance on "Fox & Friends" Thursday morning about past insults Handler has directed at his daughter.

The former governor and presidential candidate said he felt sorry for Handler because she was an "angry" and "lonely" person.

Handler disagreed.

The comedienne responded on Twitter, saying he "raised a liar" and telling him a feminist is someone who supports other women.

"A feminist Mike Huckabee is someone who supports other women," Handler tweeted. "A feminist is someone who believes the accounts of 15 different women who have similar stories about our President. A feminist doesn’t discount other women, your daughter is not a feminist. You raised a liar."

Forty minutes later, Handler proceeded to tear down Sanders by tweeting out a parody video from the YouTube Channel Sarah Huckabee Beauty. The video showed a woman impersonating the press secretary while doing an over-the-top makeup tutorial and discussing stereotypically right-wing political views.

"Get the ‘Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ look," Handler tweeted in conjunction with the video.

Since posting the two tweets, Handler has come under fire from both sides of the political aisle, with critics questioning the legitimacy of Handler's feminist identity.
