'ButtleOpener' Inventor Forced to Step Down From School Board

October 6, 2014

The inventor of the "ButtleOpener" was forced to step down from the chairmanship of the Williamson County, Tenn., school board. Parents were apparently upset about the butt-shaped bottle opener's inventor being in charge of the board. Mark Gregory called the controversy a distraction that kept the school board from accomplishing its work and therefore stepped down, according to WZTV.

In an email to the board, Gregory said the controversy was being too disruptive for him to continue as chairman but that he looked forward to continue on the board.

"I am going to take this opportunity to inform you that I will be stepping down as Chairman of the Williamson County School Board. Only because of the incredible distraction that has taken us away from the very important commitments that we all have made to the boys and girls in Williamson County Schools," he said.

"Let's get back to this most important business - providing the very best educational experience we can for the students, teachers and staff in Williamson County Schools. I look forward to working with all of you as we move forward, much as I have for the past 10 years."

The invention is a bottle opener in the shape of a woman's buttocks.
