Bill McMorris Makes Final Appearance on Red Eye

The Washington Free Beacon's own Bill McMorris may have made his final appearance on the light-hearted Fox News program Red Eye.

A segment meant for Andy Levy went off the rails when fellow Red Eye guest Kennedy was affronted by McMorris questioning her allergy to gluten, due to having celiac disease.

"OK," McMorris said.

"He doesn't believe her! He's a skeptic!" host Tom Shillue said.

Kennedy seemed irritated, though.

"Celiac disease will kill you. One hundred percent," she said.

"No, no, sure it does," McMorris said. "I know tons of faddish people who are allergic to gluten."

With laughter erupting around her, Kennedy tried to explain the symptoms.

"No, no, faddish people complain about gluten allergies," she said. "That's not the same thing as celiac disease, where the small intestine actually can't produce gluten, and if you eat it, the small intestine can develop tumors that will kill you."

Kennedy got angrier as the Free Beacon reporter joked about 7-year-olds on gluten-free diets. Levy, trying to get a word in for his segment, became furious and called for their mics to be cut. At one point, he snapped "Oh my f---ing God" as McMorris and Kennedy talked over each other.

"All the fakers are why no one believes you," McMorris said.

"I don't care about the fakers," Kennedy said.

After a "20 Minutes Later" black card appeared on the screen, Kennedy was still talking about her gluten allergy.

"They still let you in restaurants, because it's not an asshole-free zone," she said.

If it was McMorris' final guest spot on Red Eye, it was a great one.
