Mythical El Chupacabra Finally Captured?

A Texas man claims to have finally captured the mythical and mysterious Chupacabra , KABC-TV reports.

The legendary creature and bane of livestock from Latin America to the American Southwest was captured by Arlen Parma, a resident of Ratcliffe in South Texas’s DeWitt County.

The creature’s hairless back, large claws, rows of teeth and fear-inspiring growl are what tipped off Parma that this was no regular varmint.

"I hunted coons for 20 years with dogs and I ain't never seen nothing looks like that right there," Parma said of the fabled creature.

"A coon don't make that noise, or a possum," Parma noted about the creature's growl. "What makes that noise? I guess a chupacabra does, I don't know."

Doubters sought to debunk Parma’s claims of finally capturing the scourge that is the Chupacabra. Brent Ortego, a wildlife diversity biologist with Texas Parks and Wildlife and presumed "Chupacabra truther" said, "The animal in the cage as best I can tell from the view was some sort of a small canine… It's never been proven to be a unique species."

The vicious beast is currently being kept safe in its cage by Parma and his wife Jackie Stock, living off of a diet of cat food and corn until experts can determine whether it is indeed the creature of lore.
