Why Melania Trump's Speech Was Perfect, With Pictures

A lot of attention is being paid to accusations that Melania Trump may have snatched a line or two of her convention speech from Michelle Obama, but the truth is that nobody really remembers Michelle's 2008 speech and, in my opinion, Melania's will never be forgotten.

I had a less than ideal upper-deck vantage point in the Quicken Loans Arena for Melania's speech.

My view of Melania

Thinking back on it after a nice night's rest, however, I feel blessed to have even been in the same building as this amazing woman.

The class. The beauty. The style.

Melania's abundance of grace was apparent from any vantage point.

The Slovenia-born supermodel's fashion expertise was highlighted by her choice of dress.

For just one-sixth of the price of most of Hillary Clinton's outfits, Melania acquired a truly magical dress that dropped the jaws of millions of viewers nationwide.

No celebrity designer crafted this dress, as they often do for the current first lady. Melania was just doing some online shopping and picked it out. The dress sold out in minutes.

It fit perfectly.

It takes confidence to pull off those Seinfeld-esque puffy sleeves. Melania has it.

She looked like an angel—which is a compliment to angels everywhere.

It wasn't just her looks that won me over. Melania's command of the stage and delivery were flawless.

Even the small hiccups—such as saying "advisories" when the teleprompter likely said "adversaries"—were endearing.

Melania clearly enjoyed her time on the big stage after watching her inferior-looking husband own the spotlight for the past year.

My favorite part of the speech was the look of satisfaction on Melania's face when she said the election "wasn't even going to be close"—a line that could be delivered properly only by a Trump.

We will all get over the accusation of plagiarism, which does not seem to be getting traction despite the obsession of mainstream media types like Washington Free Beacon video editor David Rutz. (His post has so far been liked only two times on Facebook. Sad!)

Thanks for the show, Melania. America looks forward to hearing more from you as First Lady.
